Salesforce Comments & Updates
Comments and feed updates are captured via the polling sweep and appear within 10 minutes of being posted in Salesforce.
Activities appear with the parent record name and the type of update:
- ABC Inc - Q4 Enterprise > Comment added
- Onboarding Support > Feed update
The activity detail includes the content of the comment or update, so the substance of the communication is visible directly on the timeline without opening Salesforce.
What WorkSights Receives
WorkSights captures Chatter-style feed posts and inline updates made against any Salesforce record by a mapped user. This includes updates posted directly on opportunities, cases, accounts, contacts, and other record types. WorkSights backfills 30 days of comments and updates on first connection.
What Is Not Captured
Comments and updates made by integration users or automated processes are excluded. Only activity from mapped Salesforce users appears on the timeline.
