Home Screen

The Home Screen is the first thing you see when you sign in to WorkSights. It gives you an immediate read on what your Observers have found, what notifications are waiting, and how your team’s activity looks over the past two weeks.

What you see depends on your role. Executives and managers get the full experience. Admins without direct reports see a simplified view.

Quick Ask

The Quick Ask panel is how you start a conversation with WorkSights AI directly from the Home Screen. Type a question, set your context, and send.

Conversation starters

If you’re not sure where to begin, the conversation starter selector above the input gives you five starting points:

  • Compare this week to last week - Spot trends and changes in team activity week-on week
  • How is my team doing? - Get an honest assessment of team activity and engagement
  • Prepare for my 1:1 - Summarize a team member’s recent work and suggest talking points
  • Quick spot check on someone - Fast overview of a specific person’s recent work
  • What happened yesterday? - Get a quick overview of yesterday’s activity

Click the selector to expand the list and choose one. The selected starter sets the intent for your question. You still write the question yourself in the input below.

Asking a question

The input works with two context controls that shape what WorkSights looks at when it answers.

  • Context - The date range you want to ask about. Defaults to last week. You can change it using the date picker, or mention a time period naturally in your question and WorkSights will detect it.
  • Select people - The team members you want to ask about. Type a name or use @ mention directly in your question.

Once you’ve set your context and typed your question, click Send. Your conversation opens in the Insights view, where you can continue the thread.

Recent Insights

Recent Insights shows the latest activity from your Observers: Rev, Byte, and Vibes. Each row represents one Observer run, showing the Observer name, what it found, a status icon, and when it ran.

Status icons

  • Triangle (flagged) - The Observer found something worth your attention and escalated it
  • Green circle check - The Observer ran and found nothing unusual

Clicking any row opens the full finding, including the escalation chain showing how the Observer arrived at its conclusion.

What you see in Recent Insights depends on your role. Executives see findings across the entire account. Managers see only findings that involve direct reports.

Notifications

The Notifications panel shows your five most recent notifications: Observer findings that reached you, daily reports, and any other account activity that triggered an alert. Each item shows a title, a short preview, and a timestamp. Clicking an item takes you directly to the relevant finding or report and marks it as read.

For the full notification history, click the bell icon in the top navigation. To manage your notification preferences, go to Settings and select Notifications.

Scores

The Scores panel shows a 14-day view of your team’s activity, covering the two weeks up to and including yesterday. Each bar represents a day. The numbers above the bars are per-person activity estimates for that period, not performance ratings. They reflect the volume and pattern of work recorded across your connected tools.

The figures here match exactly what you’ll see in the Scores tab under Activities. Click View in the top-right corner of the panel to go there.

Scores visibility is controlled at the account level. If your account has scores hidden, this panel will not appear.

What Happens Next

From the Home Screen, you can move in any direction. Start a conversation via Quick Ask, open a flagged Observer finding from Recent Insights, follow up on a notification, or go deeper on team activity in the Scores tab. Each panel is a starting point, not a destination.
